Paper Rad (AKA Ben Jones)

It's fair to say Paper Rad aka Ben Jones is a Zine Legend. His idiosyncratic characters and innovative layouts betray a style that at first glance might be mistaken for crude. But those who knew knew...which as it turns out was just everybody in the zine community and beyond. Since his early hand assembled zine days he's gone onto a successful career as a gallery artist and art director.

My favorite thing about zines is that there is no limit to how creative they can be. His early zines are creativity in its purest form. They demonstrate to the full potential of the medium. All you need to create something that is both sharable and sublime is a few pens, some paper, a copy machine and your imagination.
